He was married to Anne Nutt Lobeck on June 7, 1914, and had children Elizabeth Anne (Lobeck) Smith, Packard N Lobeck, Alan Nutt Lobeck, Priscilla (Lobeck) Maynard, David Ligare Lobeck, Donald Lobeck, and Robin (Lobeck) Leaman. Adolf Lobeck died at age 96 years old on July 17, 1984.
