Adonis Abshire

Adonis Abshire was born on April 16, 1910 to Magloire Abshire and Anatile (Trahan) Abshire, and had siblings Leo Abshire, Eledier Abshire, Adam Abshire, Theodore Paul Abshire, Elide Abshire, Clotile (Abshire) Fontenot, Ermise (Abshire) Gaudet, Theozia Abshire, Milton Joseph Abshire, and Sidney Abshire. He married Ozite Marie (Leger) Abshire on November 1, 1932 at Lake Charles in Calcasieu Parish County, Louisiana United States, and they were married until Adonis' death on February 20, 1973. Adonis Abshire had children Marie (Abshire) Bonds, Adam Keith Abshire, Willie Mae (Abshire) Smith, Wilbert Abshire, Willie Abshire, Leroy Abshire Sr, Shirley Jean (Abshire) O'Blanc, Newton Joseph Abshire, Nolan Joseph Abshire, Emma Lou (Abshire) Eaves, Emma Jean (Abshire) O'Blanc, and John Paul Abshire.
