Alice Magsamen
Alice Magsamen, the daughter of Alice Irene Cully Magsamen, was a timid and shy person. Once nearly killed by a trolley, Alice developed a stutter and had trouble communicating. She was married and divorced and then her husband died of a heart attack. She had no children. She lived with my grandmother for most of her younger life at 1052 Teller Avenue in the Bronx, and then moved up to 201st Street, Bronx, New York, where she lived once again with my grandmother, Alice. My aunt's grandparents on her mother's side were John N. Cully and Ellen (Ward) Cully. It is not as clear on her father, Adam Magsamen's side. Her grandfather's name was also Adam Magsamen, born 1847. His wife's name was Emilie Gleckle. They were of full German descent.
