All dressed up...

...obviously mother was quite proud of the young man her little boy had grown into... and what a good looking young man he was, and with manners to match...I am sure he turned more than a few female heads in his day, but when he met my grandmother, his heart belonged to her...

Researching surnames from East Texas right now, i.e. Green, Hinson, McLeod, Cooper, Patterson, and will come back on and update this later.
