Amos Ormiston was born in 1891 to William Ormiston and Sarah Anne Brown, and had siblings Mary Ormiston, Jane Ormiston, Henry Ormiston, Sarah Ormiston, and Ellen Ormiston. He married May Calvert, and had children Mabel Ormiston, John Thomas Ormiston, Amos Ormiston, Naomi Victoria Ormiston, Dorothy May Ormiston, and Beatrice Ormiston. Amos Ormiston died at age 73 years old in 1964.
