sorry i have not replied, but there is a story about my ancestory also that has been documented all the way back to the Salem Witch trials, so yes there is a lot of personality there. I don't have any more pictures but this, but we have traced my family roots all the way back to England in the 1500's

I have his veteran records. He was 5'6". He was in the Spanish-American War.
I also have a copy of the hand written divorce documents.
He was pretty brutal towards her.

This is my grandmother....I always thought that she was beautiful in this photo, but she told us that she concidered herself not very pretty....too skinny and she thought her lips were too full! Funny how standards of beauty change with the era. I think she had Angelina lips!

Anne Marie Kriege's father was Anthony Anton Braunger (1870 - 1956), born in Germany, and her mother was Magdalena Lena Hensler (1871 - 1900). She had siblings Anna, Marie, John Joseph, Grace Catherine, Cecelia Edith, Paul Eugene, Francis Charles, Margaret, Max Anthony, Catherine Elizabeth "Betty", Helen Jean, and Richard Joseph Braunger. When "Annie", as she was then known, was 7 years old, she lived with her parents and uncle Jessie Hensler, 21, in Sioux City, Iowa. Dad was a butcher and Annie was in school Uncle Jessie was a domestic. Anne Marie Braunger married John Fredrick Kriege II (1889 - 1945) on November 25, 1920, in Woodbury Iowa and they had four children: 3 girls and a boy, John Fred, Constance, Marion, and Joanne Kriege.
