Annette Reichmuth was a beautiful 19 year old who was diagnosed with leukemia in the summer of 1952 and passed away just a few months later. She was never told that her illness was terminal. Annette played the accordion and doted on her baby niece and nephew. She was the youngest daughter of Stephen Anthony "Tony" Reichmuth (d. 1948) and Beatrice Phillips Reichmuth (d.1970), and the sister of Marian Reichmuth Kinsley (d. 2001) and Ruth Reichmuth Conrad (d. 2014). I was born a year after she died. I wish I'd been named after her, and really wish I could have met her and my grandfather!
