Parents killed in Asia Minor/Turkey during the Greek Genocide, and she and her sisters, Helena, Adamantia and Pousoula fled to Greece when she was only 8 years old - already an orphan. 1913 She was naturalized on Nov 22, 1927. She came to America on the SS Byron. She was born in Kenek, Turkey, married in Piraeus, Greece and was living in Mytilene, Lesvos, Greece before emigrating.
