Arthur Thomas Adams is the son of Oliver Thomas Adams and Hester Catherine (Kate) Shipley and grandson of James Albert Adams and Martha Jane Gallemore and Uriah McCaleb Shipley and Frances Lovena Prewitt. He married first Viola Cummings Adams and second Dorothy Lenora Stiles.
