This is a picture of The Wedding Program for Aunt Doris and Uncle Jim. They were married on December 28, 1946. They had no children but my mother Caroline Thornhill used to tell me that they wanted to adopt me when I was born. It could be true as I was born in 1948 and at that time Mom and Dad had four older children at home so maybe Aunt Doris did say that. I'll never know but can't say why Mom would have told me that if not.
Doris (Thornhill) Siglin of Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida United States was born in 1914, and died at age 89 years old on March 4, 2004 in Tampa.
