Benjamin Chortkoff of Los Angeles County, California United States was born circa 1914 to Bertha Noler Chortkoff and Samuel Chortkoff. He had siblings Rose (Chortkoff) Berger, Albert Starr Chortkoff, and Pauline Chortkoff (Holtzman) Temkin. He married Mildred Marjory (Newman) Chortkoff on February 14, 1947, and had a child Rand Jay Chortkoff. Benjamin Chortkoff died at age 74 years old on February 20, 1989 in Los Angeles, and was buried in Big Sur, Monterey County.
