Bernadette Kassenbrock was a teacher at Public School 140 Annex in Brooklyn in the 1950s. She was a very bubbly person who enjoyed teaching us about current events and history. But her real joy in life was traveling around the world. That was a topic that I loved most in her class. So I would say out loud, "How about telling us about your trip to Italy today." And she would look at the class and ask, "Who wants to hear about my trip?" And every hand would be raised! And for the next 40 minutes, we would be engaged. We could ask questions and it would be a terrific 40 minutes! I loved her and she deserved to live to be 104! When I die, I'll be in the same cemetery: Green-Wood. My mother and brothers are there. I hope her relatives, their children, and grandchildren read this! She came from a huge family but she never married. She was also dedicated to keeping Bay Ridge looking beautiful.

For fifty years I have been a Document Examiner and that is how I earn my living. For over 50 years I have also been a publicist for actors, singers, writers, composers, artists, comedians, and many progressive non-profit organizations. I am a Librettist-Composer of a Broadway musical called, "Nellie Bly" and I am in the process of making small changes to it. In addition, I have written over 100 songs that would be considered "popular music" in the genre of THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK.
My family consists of four branches. The Norwegians and The Italians and the Norwegian-Americans and the Italian Americans.
