Fun fact : Bogor Botanical Garden was build in 1817 during the Dutch colonization of Indonesia. A presidential palace is located inside the massive garden of 87 hectares, which is only during Joko Widodo's presidential era is used as a main palace where the president lives.

Fun fact: Bogor Botanical Garden is housing amorphophallus titanum or better known as the corpse flower. As can be told by the name, the flower smell like rotting corpse and when bloom can stand as tall as 6m (20 ft)
