Bradley Worledge
Bradley Todd Worledge was born in Chico, California on June 25th, 1969. Commonly known as Todd, he was raised in Marysville, California by adopted parents Art and Dee Worledge. After the age of 14, he was placed into the care of the Rebekah Oddfellows Children's Home in Gilroy, California. At school, he met his best friend, Giavanna Soares (aka Susan Lowery) and moved in with her family. The duo were inseparable, and spent the next three years running amok all over California. They spent most of their time in San Francisco, which would become Todd's life-long home. Despite being openly homosexual, Todd and Gia brought a beautiful little girl into the world in April of 1987. Todd was a print model, working with companies such as Macy's and Nordstrom, until he was discovered in 2988 and he then became a runway model. His work took him to San Diego, California where he resided briefly with his good friend Carlos Kinch, of Fresno, California (August 4th,1967 - June 25th, 2010). As Todd's career became successful, he succumbed to the industry pressures of drugs and alcohol, which eventually led to the end of his contract with his agency. He returned to San Francisco, where he discovered himself as Deborah Lee. Unable to reestablish herself as a model, some of her choices over the next ten years led to penal consequences and estrangement from her daughter. There are multiple media sources about Deborah's life online, including news articles, a book, and a documentary. Although Deborah led a colorful life, she was kind, funny, endearing, and brave. People were drawn to her. She was beautiful, vivacious, and a true free spirit. Deborah and her daughter reconnected in 2004 but sadly, she passed away before they had the opportunity to meet again. After Deborah's passing, her daughter hired a private investigator and successfully located Deborah's biological family-something they had planned to do together. Her birth name was Jefferey Benton Taylor. Deborah is survived by her daughter Sarah Taylor of Sacramento, friend Gia Soares of Santa Cruz, sister Cynda Taylor Hopper of New Mexico, as well as nieces and nephews, beloved friends, and two brothers. Deborah was preceded in death by her biological father Jimmy Taylor of Humboldt County, California and biological mother Kimber Vandermueler Taylor Norton of Oregon. See a September 2020 interview with documentarian Louis Theroux about his film on Deborah: Louis Theroux pays tribute to transgender inmate.
