Brian W. Dauner

Gretna, NE. Survived by wife Pam Dauner; son Mark Dauner; daughter Alison (Nicholas) Paladino; grandchildren Kyla and Serena; mother Cleora Dauner. Preceded in death by father Bernard Dauner. Brian Dauner died at the age of 63 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, of Thyroid Cancer. He was raised as the only child and attended Gretna Schools in Nebraska. He graduated from Gretna High School in 1968. He studied Business Management and Accounting at the University of Nebraska in Omaha where he graduated from in 1972. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. After graduation he farmed with his father on the family farm. He was a member of Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gretna for 34 years, where he once served as President of the Church Council. He also was a member of the 4-H Council, Gretna Co-Op Board of Directors, Farm Service Agency Board of Directors, and the Gretna Rural Fire Board as Fire President. He was preceded in death by his parents Cleora and Bernard Dauner. He is survived by. His wife 39 years, Pam Dauner, a son Mark Dauner, and a daughter Alison, plus two granddaughters.
