PAUL DAWSON Obituary DAWSON, Paul F. Age 98, of Sagamore Beach and Buzzards Bay. Beloved husband for 65 years of the late Rita (O'Hara). Devoted father of Jim and his wife Elaine, Paul and his wife Maryellen, Peter and his wife Maura and John and his wife Lori. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Paul was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in both Manila and Tokyo. He received degrees at both Boston College and Harvard University and for 33 years worked in the Cambridge Public Schools both as a teacher and administrator. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30am-10:30am at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., in BOURNE. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am, at St. Margaret's Church, Buzzards Bay. Margaret Theresa (O'Hara) Tipton of Littleton, Arapahoe County, Colorado United States was born on February 24, 1926 at Massachusetts, USA in MA to Bridget Theresa (Hehir) O'Hara and Patrick Joseph O'Hara. She had siblings Francis Patrick O'hara, Thomas Joseph O'Hara, Mary Louise (O'Hara) O'Brien, Helen M. "Sister Pankita" O'Hara, Catherine C. O'Hara, John Joseph O'Hara, Paul Gerard O'Hara, and Rita Patricia (O'Hara) Dawson. She married Franklin Arthur "Frank" Tipton and they later divorced. She had children Michael O'Hara Tipton and Patrick Tipton. Margaret Tipton died at age 97 years old on July 22, 2023 at Littleton, Arapahoe, Colorado, USA in Littleton, CO.

Paul G.O'HARA, 80 Retired probation officer World War II Army veteran Sagamore Beach- Paul G. O'Hara, 80, of Sagamore Beach, formerly of Mission Hill, Died Tuesday at his home in Sagamore Beach. He was born in Mission Hill, and lived there most of his life. He was a 1942 graduate of Boston College. Mr O'Hara was a Army veteran of World War II. He was retired probation officer in Dorchester District Court. He leaves a brother, John J. O'Hara Jr. of Osterville two sisters, Rita P.Dawson of Sagamore Beach and Margaret T. O'Hara of Littleton, Colo. and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral is at 10 a.m tomorrow at David J. O'Connor Funeral Home, 1558 Tremont St., Mission Hill, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m in Missin Hill Church. Burial will be in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
