I was 10 years old in Monahans, Tx and parents moved us to Sonora, Tx at 11 years old. Graduated from H.S. and parents moved again to Burnet, Tx. I worked at Pizza Hut for 4 years from dishwasher to asst. manager. Worked at JCPenney/antique store in Llano. Worked at burnet video store where I met my husband as a customer. We dated for 7 years and got married in May. Worked for Sutherlands for 13 years as price changer, paint dept., as Receiving Manager. Had early retirement November 14, 2012 when they shut their doors. Started my own craft business making costume jewelry earrings, necklaces, boot chains, some bracelets and did the craft shows, farmers market for 6 years. Then April 10, 2020 I was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis(muscle disease) which affects every muscle and organs in my body, and rashes (looked like a reptilian). No Cure! I lost all my body strength, I couldn’t dress myself or turn over in bed, couldn’t stand or raise up, just kept getting worse. Today I’m able to walk again, dress myself and rashes are gone. With help of my doctors and steroids. I decided to work on genealogy since I’m unable to work outside of the house, can’t be in crowds, no sun so basically I’m quarantined inside the house. I have No immune system.
