Walter A. Schelsky was my grandfather from what I know he was born in Poland and came to the United States. My grandpa was married to Patricia (Pat) Schelsky and they 6 children Kathy Schelsky, Sharon Schelsky (my mom), Patricia Schelsky (Patty), Walter Schelsky, Elaine Schelsky, and Leigh Schelsky. My grandma Pat is buried beside him and on the other side of him is where (my mom) Sharon is buried. Their oldest daughter my aunt Kathy is also deceased now and the rest of their children are still living. I dont really remember much about my grandfather Walter because I was only 6 yrs old at the time he passed about. I do remember that grandpa Walter and grandma Pat lived a farm house in Batavia, Illinois when I was little and that they gave a beautiful Ge=man Shepherd name King. But from stories I've been told about my grandpa. he was a great man who worked and took care of his family. I can remember him being a tall man! My favorite story having been told about my grandpa is one my aunt Elaine told me about him that I thought was so cool finding out about him and it made me so very proud to be his grandaughter, which was that my grandpa Walter Schelsky helped to build the big mechanical monster shark they used in the original movie Jaws.
