Born in Neuendorf, Kreis Naugard, Pomerania, to Christian Friedrich Zuege and Maria Charlotta Brehmer. Married "Reka" Fehling on 11 Nov 1841. Emigrated to the US with his wife and 6 of his 10 children aboard the Orpheus, landing in NY on 27 Nov 1867. The family was located in Berlin, WI, by 1870. It is likely that he died between 1881 and 1884, and was buried on the family farm.
