Cedars Collins, Bertie went by the last name of collins after his mother died when he was 5 months old in 1880 in kansas..it is listed on her mortality sheet that his dad was already dead..he was then raised by his grandmother, Catherine (Edinger) Collins, his grandfather Daniel Collins died in 1883 in kansas. Have not been able to find out who his father was..
