I own Irish Wolfhounds, have two cats, am a mom to four, four grandkids, married 17 years and researching genealogy 17 years. Looking for Mullen, Campbell, Farr, Burroughs, Burdett, Blaisdell, Groom, Howell, Washington, Cummings, Davis, Sullins, Crose, Moore, Peterson, Bias, Long, Barnes, Hoffman, Prewitt, Spencer, Wilson, Mabry, Helton/Hilton, Hale, Kelso...we are part Cherokee from the Groom and Helton/Hilton lines (out of North Carolina and Tennessee) and the FBI has it down as part Cherokee in the Burdett line in a file on one of my gr-gr-aunts that ran with the Barker gang, out of Okalahoma, though it could be Osage, as that Indian blood comes out of south-eastern Missouri. We are Irish (Mullen), Scots (Campbell), Welsh (Farr), called 'Pennsylvania Dutch' through our Hoffman line, English (Blaisdell), for some unknown reason some of the family says we have some 'cajun' in there, though I fail to find the connection, and the Burdett line is rumored to be descended from a marriage to a marriage from one of the Dukes of Kent's daughters. Spencer is also supposed to be descended from 'the' Spencer's in Great Britain. I know the Kelso family fell out of favor and lost all their titles in Scotland many centuries back, due to marrying bad, against the king's wishes (I pretty much have that line). We just have no old photos of most of our ancestors and no one seems to remember seeing them or they remember old aunt or uncle having them, yet these same photos seem to have somehow just vanished. I'm hoping someone out there has them and they have found there way here.
