A painting of Clara Chyglik (1881 - 1966) done in remembrance of her. All the major family members (heads of household- her grandchildren for example) have an image of or copy of the painting at their homes.
Based on the stories I have heard growing up, when Herman originally came to the U.S. he changed his last name to Miller, which is where I get it from. I'm not sure if her daughter Fannie still has Chyglik as a part of her name, but today she is known as Fannie Miller (we call her Aunt Fannie). I was named after Clara. She was my Great-Great Grandmother.
