Claudia Caron, née Ouellette, was born in Saint-Valérien, Rimouski, Québec. She was the sister of Joseph, Alphonse, Emile, Napoléon, Eugénie, Alma and Cécile. Most of the family came to work in the factories in Nashua. Alphonse had to go back on the family farm. Hence this part of the familiy remained Québécois.
