He had siblings Andrew Kisor, John Kisor, James Kisor, and Jacob Kisor. He married Ada Bell Kisor on March 9, 1882 in Lawrence County, and had children Amos Eugene Kisor, Commodore M. Kisor, Charles Franklin Kisor, Joshua Kisor, John Kisor, Tom Kisor, and Darney Kisor. Commodore Kisor died at age 69 years old on December 10, 1926 in Centre, AL.
