This is my Great Grandfather Daniel Bartow Griffis 1877-1957 Holding Daniel Bartow Griffis Jr. or better known as uncle Dan. The Griffis Family migrated from Clinch county Georgia to Wauchula Florida about 1915. The Griffis family owned and operated the Griffis Boarding House in Wauchula Florida until the time of Daniel's death in 1957. The family was known for transporting cow hide's and produce by way of a trucking business that was established many years earlier.
