David served in the second WW. He was in the engine room of a supply ship HMAS Colac. He was permanently injured when the ship was attacked. David returned from war and had a small business making decorative wrought iron gates, fences. David believes he had a son with his first wife. David’s second wife was German born Elisabeth Ballingall born in 1925 died in 2021. David believes that he has a son with his first wife, I have not been able to find that son. Before moving into aged care David lived at 99 Western Road Macleay island 4184. I believe David is still alive.
