Don Avalier

Don Avalier, birth name Donald John Avellar, was born on September 19, 1912 in California, USA to Manuel Joseph Avellar (1879 - 1976) and Mary Prada Rose (1888 - 1946). Both parents were born in California, as was Don. He had siblings William John (1906 - 1988), Manuel (born 1910), Marion Rose (1914 - 1992), and Francis D. Avellar (1930 - 20010. Donald Avellar married Beatrice Bowen (1915 - 1995) and they had a son and a daughter, Sherman and Shirley Ann Avellar. An actor who appeared in motion pictures during the 1940s and 1950s, Don Avalier was best known for Motor Patrol (1950) and Fille de plaisir (1954).
