Douglas MacArthur
His parade. At one point he changed to a carriage with his wife and son. I know it is true because I was there.

Douglas MacArthur
Douglas MacArthur was an American general who served in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. He commanded the Southwest Pacific in World War II, oversaw the successful Allied occupation of postwar Japan, and led United Nations forces in the Korean War. MacArthur was a larger-than-life, controversial figure who was talented, outspoken, and egotistical. He was known as the "American Caesar" and rose to a five-star rank. MacArthur's parents held opposite viewpoints during the US Civil War, with his father being a Union general and his mother being from a prominent Confederate family. MacArthur earned more than 100 military decorations both in the US and internationally.

For fifty years I have been a Document Examiner and that is how I earn my living. For over 50 years I have also been a publicist for actors, singers, writers, composers, artists, comedians, and many progressive non-profit organizations. I am a Librettist-Composer of a Broadway musical called, "Nellie Bly" and I am in the process of making small changes to it. In addition, I have written over 100 songs that would be considered "popular music" in the genre of THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK.
My family consists of four branches. The Norwegians and The Italians and the Norwegian-Americans and the Italian Americans.
