Dr. Ardenne Hinson

Mary Ardenne 'Den' Hinson (1894-1979) was the eldest child of Shelton 'PaPoo' Hinson and Mattie Daisy Fletcher who was born and died in Memphis, TN. She was a dentist and came from a long line of male and female dentists. She taught school prior to attending dental school, tutored her classmates and did not marry. This picture was included in the newspaper article announcing her 2nd term as President of the Zonta Club.
