Ebenezer Mitchell and grandaughter
Ebenezer Mitchell & granddaughter. Ebenezer, died in, 1852, before ambrotypes were made in the U.S., so this has to be a later ambrotype copy of a Daguerreoytpe. The grandaughter, Ida, also died a short time after the image was made. Ebenezer's son, Eben, had two daughters he named, Ida, both of whom died in childhood.
