This ragged Little boy in this photo was my father. He was born on September 15, 1924 in West Palm Beach, Florida at Mackie maternity Hospital. He died never knowing who his father was and I would like to find out. His birth certificate had his father listed as George Harris, a school instructor from Tallahassee Florida, who was born in 1896. his mother was listed as Dorothy Lacey and I have found out about her and her entire family. If someone knows anything about this little boy and who his father was, I would like to know. I have tried ancestry.com and have had no luck. I am not sure that this is really, even who his father was since his mother had a history of several men in her life. Several months later, he was somehow in Springfield, Ohio and his baptismal record has him as Edward Peacock with the father‘s name listed as Joseph Peacock.If you know something, please share.
