Edward Lee Main
Edward Lee Main was born on November 21, 1931 in Mendocino, CA to parents Alfred Franklin Main (1907-1994) and Ocie Ola Gilbert-Main (1910-1989). He had siblings Dorsey Franklin 'Frankie' Main (1929-2012), James Claudy Main (1933-2023), Mattie Bell Main-Vaughn (1935-2015), and Ernest Marlin Main (1939-2015). He grew up in San Saba and Fort Worth Texas where he attended school and worked as a cedar chopper as a teenager. Edward married his wife Jackie on May 14, 1955 and had children together including Sherry, James, Alfred, Jackie, Terry, Jimmie, and Viola Main. Edward Main passed away on July 31, 1981 in West Fork, Arkansas and is buried at the West Fork Cemetery there. See his gravesite at Edward Main Gravesite .
