Emma and Gunnar Taarvig

This is Gunnar Taarvig and his first wife Emma. Her maiden name was Meyers. She died of Diabetes when my mother, Gloria Mae Taarvig, was in High School. Then he married his second wife Sabina. His Daughters were Beverly, Gloria and Mary. They all grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Gunnar was a whaler and came to the US with his father when he was 13 years old. Gunnar's father s drowned in a mishap in England. Gunnar was a sailor working on ships in the Great Lakes for a period of time and then made a comfortable living as fireman in Lacrosse.
