This is Emma Josephine Lund b. 17 Dec 1894 at the Lund farm, Norway Township, Clay County, South Dakota - d. 25 May 1960 Fresno, Fresno Co, CA buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Fresno, CA. She was the daughter of Pete Lund, an immigrant from Denmark, and his wife, Alida 'Lydia' Wold whose parents were immigrants from Norway. Emma married Martin Stian Knutson (b. 30 Aug 1891 Vermillion, Clay Co, SD - d. 29 Oct 1956 Fresno, CA buried with Emma) the son of Henry Storalcous Knutson and his wife Lydia S. Halverson. Emma and Martin Knutson had six children, all raised in the Fresno area: Henry Peter, Arnold Lewis, Earl Martin, Maxine Lorraine, Gladys Eileen, and Marlene Maye. Each of these six children married and in turn had issue, so Emma has a large number of descendants to the present day.
