Eric Lansell

Eric was the 81st person to join the RAAF prior to WW2 As a Squadron Leader he led B Flight 30 Squadron (Beauford Bombers) on bombing raids against Japanese naval & ground targets in northern Papua New Guinea in WW2 As a Wing Commander he was Commanding Officer at Western Junction (Tas) where they trained pilots for the Empire Training Scheme. It was there that he met & married my Auntie Dulce
