John Holder officiated the 2:00 services. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Stephens Union Guneral Home was in charge of arrangements. Ervin belonged to Lucern Methodist Church. Donald Earl Coats and his wife Faye and 2 grandchildren: Donald Ray Coats and Lisa Coats all of Union, Ms. and 1 sister:Mrs. Effie Farned of Frankston, Tx.

Donald Earl Coats of Union, Neshoba County, MS was born on March 2, 1946 to Ervin Coats and Annie Ferrell (Sessums) Coats. He married Faye Berta (Hillman) Coats, and had children Donald Ray Coats and Angela Kay Coats. Donald Coats died at age 60 years old on June 23, 2006, and was buried in Union, Newton County.
