Ethel Bradley Cutrell (also known as E.B. Cutrell) was born in Tennessee to Henry GIlford Cutrell (1890 - 1955) and Martha Ophelia Cutrell (1290 - 1942). He had siblings Homer (1917) . Lorene (1919), Leola (1921), Henry Ford (1923), John (1925), and Sam (1928). In 1920, they lived at Cedar Bluff and Below Springs Road, Civil District 10, Trousdale, Tennessee. In 1930, they lived in District 12, Smith, Tennessee. On March 16, 1941, he enlisted as an Aviation Cadet. His enlistment record states that he had 3 yrs of college and was working as farm hand. Although he was living in Wilson, Tennessee at the time but he enlisted in the Air Corps at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. His height was 69 inches and his weight was 166 lbs. E.B. married Rebecca Cox Cutrell and had children Henry Thomas Cutrell and John Cowan Cutrell According to his Find A Grave Obituary (below), EB served in the military until 1947 and was discharged as a Major.

I'm a Founder of AncientFaces and support the community answering questions & helping members make connections to the past (thus my official title of Founder & Content and Community Support ). For me, it's been a labor of love for over 20 years. I truly believe with all of my heart that everyone should be remembered for generations to come. I am 2nd generation San Jose and have seen a lot of changes in the area while growing up. We used to be known as the "Valley of Heart's Delight" (because the Valley was covered with orchards and there were many canneries to process the food grown here, which shipped all over the US) - now we have adopted the nickname "Capital of Silicon Valley" and Apple, Ebay, Adobe, Netflix, Facebook, and many more tech companies are within a few miles of my current home in San Jose (including AncientFaces). From a small town of 25,000, we have grown to 1 million plus. And when you add in all of the communities surrounding us (for instance, Saratoga, where I attended high school, living a block from our previous Mayor), we are truly one of the big cities in the US.
