GOOD AFTERNOON, Patricia~~~Thank You for posting this adorable photo here on AncientFaces. Although the ALBRECHT names & dates that You mention do not ring a bell with Me...I am an ALBRECHT descendant, too!!! Returning to Your photo...I 'choose' to see just a glimpse of My Grandmother in this little girls smile. OK??? Just like the thought of seeing Grandma's smile.
My Grandmother was IDA CAROLINE ALBRECHT, one of ten children of CHRISTIAN ALBRECHT & EMILY MUNZ. Ironically, I am not sure of all of the names. I continue to pray to locate ALBRECHT material...specifically from Germany?
Interestingly, I have been unable to locate ANY ALBRECHT/MUNZ information prior to their arrival (from Germany) around 1879. This family emigrated to NEW JERSEY & lived in ESSEX County primarily.
At present I do not have photos of My Grandparents here; but perhaps I will post photos of My Grandmother soon???
Blessings to You, Patricia. I only wish that this information could/would serve You in some small way. Best Wishes to You as You continue to nurture Your FAMILY TREE.
Whispering...to acknowledge the ALBRECHT clan

I agree with you all - she looks like a sweetie. She saw 2 great wars and a depression and I bet she still had that sweet face. The owner is looking to reunite her with her family.
I love the baby ring. These days it would cause an uproar as it would "pose a threat for children swallowing". Goes to show kids in the old days were smarter.

Ain't they cute? Look at these cute baby photos taken over the past 150 years.
From birth to 3 months, babies learn to smile, raise their heads and chests, and track objects and grip them. From 4 to 6 months, they can roll over, babble (no real words yet), sit up, laugh, and gr...
