Forrest Brass Obituary
FAIRMOUNT, Ind. — Forrest A. Brass, 76, 7880 W. Grant County Road 900-S, died Thursday at his home.
Mr. Brass, who was born in Kokomo, had lived in Grant County since 1967. He retired as a master sergeant after 30 years in the Air Force. Mr. Brass had also worked in RCA's maintenance department for 15 years.
He was a member of Roseburg Church of God, RCA Club, Sympathy Club, American Association of Retired Persons and American Legion posts in Kokomo and Marion.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Anna Ellyson Brass; a son, William (Mokey) Brass, Fair-mount; two brothers, Harold L. Brass, Greentown, and Frank Brass, Muncie; a sister Iona Hurt, Francisco, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Raven Funeral Home, Marion, with Revs. Carlton Beebee and William Wimmer officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park. Calling will be 3-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Officers from Wright-Patterson Air Force base will conduct military graveside rites.
