Frank was the youngest of five children. He was the only male child of his family. Frank was drafted into the United States Marine Corps in 1952 and deployed in Korea. He rose the up ranks to become a corporal and returned to his homeland in 1954. He met his wife Lorraine a year later while they were working in factory in New Jersey. They married in 1956 and had five children of their own; Maryellen, Michael, Laura, Frank, and Lawrence. He fell ill in the 1980’s and died due to complications with ALS in 1988. He was buried in Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island.
