George W Kesty Obituary

George W., age 57, of Otsego. Preceded in death by father, Albert. He will be deeply missed by daughter, Pamela (Jay) Harter; grand-daughter, Monica; mother, Genevieve (Ray) Rosenving; brothers, Larry, David, Kenneth; sister, Karen Gamble; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial service 1 PM Friday, April 23, 2004 at: Cremation Society of MN Brooklyn Park Chapel 7835 Brooklyn Blvd. 763-560-3100

George William Kesty was the son of Albert Isaac Kesty and Genevieve Marie Svercl. He was one of five children in his family and had a younger brother named Larry. George was a lifelong resident of Minnesota. He was born on August 2, 1946 in Esko, MN and grew up in Thomson, Minnesota living on Kanta Road. He was a 1964 graduate of Esko High School (Esko, Minnesota). On December 22, 1967 he married Marianne Alice Barton (1946–1987) in Hawaii. They had a daughter together before divorcing in June of 1971. He worked in Electrical Assembly and George Kesty passed away on April 20, 2004.

My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!
