Gerald W. Loeffelholz, 71, of Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Freeport, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.

Gerald W. Loeffelholz, 71, of Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Freeport, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1940, to William and Carol Loeffelholz.
In 1962, Gerry married Elaine Janicke Frederick. He was a butcher for many years.
Gerry is survived by four children, William Loeffelholz of Florida, step-son David (Patricia) Frederick of Freeport, Cindy Loeffelholz of Brooksville, Fla., and Gerald W. Loeffelholz Jr. of Freeport; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; brother, Jeff; and sister, Pat.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; his parents; and two brothers, Daniel and David.
A memorial service will be held in the near future.
