Glenn, as he was commonly known, was born on February 3, 1903 to James Franklin and May (Padgett) Plymire, Eunice was born November 11, 1904 to William Claymence and Anna (Rohde) Sporleder. They farmed near Beloit, Mitchell County, Kansas.
