Goldie K. Gilbert
My great Aunt Goldie always was a head of her time when it came to fashion. She always looked like a class act no matter what she was doing. When we had family reunions, she and Uncle Gil were always my favorite to hang around. I certainly do miss her. She and Uncle Gil lived together as common law husband and wife for years before actually wedding. She once said being the black sheep of the family added spice to it all. This photo was taken the last time I visited Aunt Goldie and Uncle Gil in 1984

Sixth Great Grandson to Jordan Gray who served at Valley Forge. **Information on my Kidd branch of the family tree on Find A Grave by M. E. Payne and Ronnie McFadden (aka blue jay) is mostly incorrect. M.E. Payne claims falsely to be a "close" first cousin to my grandfather Kidd yet can not tell you anything personal about him although she lived next door to him and never attended any family reunions or events. Ronnie McFadden's third great grandfather is a sibling of my third great grandfather George Kidd. She has never met or spoken to any of my direct family and assumes incorrectly about this branch of family history. The info I have noted on my site has been passed down by word of mouth by my father - his siblings, grandfather - his siblings as well as my great grandmother Sarah and from our family bible (written in it) that I am in possession of. Anything that I am not 100% sure of, I note as such. I can be contacted at [contact link] for any needed info.
