Greta Marie (Andersen) Sonnichsen was born on 1 May 1927 in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Mourits Peter Andersen and Charlotte Emerentze Benedikte Nielsen. Greta Andersen, a Danish swimmer, was considered the greatest swimmer in the World. She won a gold and a silver medal in the 100 meter freestyle events at the 1948 Summer Olympics. For a list of her accomplishments, see Greta Marie Andersen: Professions. Greta Andersen married Helge Jeppsen in 1952 Copenhagen and they divorced. Greta then married John Sonnichsen in Long Beach, California, in 1957. After they opened a swimming school in Los Alamitos, California, Greta and John divorced. For fifty years I have been a Document Examiner and that is how I earn my living. For over 50 years I have also been a publicist for actors, singers, writers, composers, artists, comedians, and many progressive non-profit organizations. I am a Librettist-Composer of a Broadway musical called, "Nellie Bly" and I am in the process of making small changes to it. In addition, I have written over 100 songs that would be considered "popular music" in the genre of THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK.
My family consists of four branches. The Norwegians and The Italians and the Norwegian-Americans and the Italian Americans.
