Grover Daugherty of Salem, Dent County, Missouri was born on April 11, 1891. He married Mary Hattie Pearl (Bartlett) Daugherty, and they had children Ruby Virginia Daugherty, Sylvia Sharon Daugherty Kerr Beers, Carol Daugherty Brand Baker Plank, Mary Lou (Daugherty) Brooks, and Faye Jean Daugherty Fox Garnet. Grover's partner was Edna (Pruitt) Daugherty, and they had children Lucille Mary Zeiss, Eddie Daugherty, and Earl Daugherty. Grover Daugherty died at age 81 years old in March 1973 in Salem.
