Hadie B (Quigley) Grochala
Hadie Quigley is the daughter of George Calvin Quigley (1883-1947) and Clara Lee Eckmann (1888-1968). She was born on August 28, 1911 in Cazadero, Sonoma, California, USA and had sisters Esther, Georgia, Barbara, and Evelyn Quigley. She was married to Michael Grochala (1913-2002) and together they had 4 children including Joan Grochala (1953-1994) and John B Grochala (1953-2015). Hadie enlisted in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) on October 23, 1942, during World War II. At the time of her enlistment, she was married and a citizen of the United States. Hadie's enlistment took place in San Francisco, California, and she was assigned service number A-903280. After enlisting, she became part of the Inactive Reserve component of the Women's Army Corps.
