Harvey's first marriage ended in divorce in 1924 in Almena, Kansas. The woman's name is unknown. Henry B. Noel's mother is unknown.
Henry was born in Kentucky, November of 1842. He served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War from 1861-1863. He met and married Susan about 1869. Susan was born in Kentucky, January 4,1851. To this union five children were born, 4 girls and one boy, Harvey Harris, October 1,1873. Henry and Susan moved to St. Petersburg, Illinois, where Harvey was born. Then they moved to Furnas County, Nebraska and lived on a farm east of Beaver City for many years until the retired north of town.
Harvey met Etta Thompson and were married November 10, 1895. Etta is the daughter of George and Jessie Thompson, born in Carlton, Missouri on June 10,1878. In 1879 they moved to Furnas County to a farm north of Beaver City and attended Thompson School District 44.
Etta and Harvey had three children. One child died in infancy, William was born in 1896 and Mabel was born in 1906.
Harvey and Etta spent their entire life in Beaver City, except for a short time in Topeka, Kansas and Republican City, Nebraska. They had many happy years together.
