This is Harvey Sage Sr. born 1794. He was the sone of Elias Sage Sr. born 1758. Harvey was a soldier in the war of 1812, stationed at the fort at Sackett's Harbor in the company commanded by Captain Root, and was pensioned by the government for services rendered.
