Ewen Kelvin Smibert of Hawthorn, Victoria Australia was born on November 20, 1897 in Hawthorn to George Smibert and Sarah Jane (Corbett) Smibert. He had siblings Alan Leigh Smibert, Isabel Hay (Smibert) Moore, George Smibert, Kate Millicent Smibert, Alexander Alfred Smibert, Hubert Ivan Smibert, Cedric Olaf Smibert, and Edna Jeanne (Smibert) Robinson. He married Clara Genevieve (Evans) Smibert on December 6, 1920, and had children Donald James Smibert and Kelvin Stuart Smibert. Ewen Smibert died at age 83 years old on August 24, 1981 in Mount Eliza, and was buried at New Cheltenham Cemetery in Cheltenham, Bayside City County.
